The 2016 Starbucks Holiday Cups Have Arrived!

Nov 10, 2016 by Sarah (Day Styles)

How about a little good news? The annual Starbucks holiday cups are back, and in a major turn of events, Starbucks is releasing 13 different decorated red cups (and a cup for cold drinks as well!) The holiday cups have been designed by artists from around the world, which was part of Starbucks’ design contest from December 2015.

Each cup is completely different but the designs share the general themes of unity, love, joy, and the holiday spirit. The Chief Marketing Officer at Starbucks, Sharon Rothstein, says, “We hope that this year’s red holiday cup designs express the shared spirit of the holidays as told by our customers.” The artists for these cups come from six different countries including the United States, Canada, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea and Russia and the designs range from gentle fairy tales to bolder designs like a forest and even homey patterns like a snowflake sweater. The red cups will be in more than 25,000 Starbucks stores and in over 75 countries worldwide. Check out all thirteen designs below and let us know which is your favorite!
