Based in New York City, Liu Wen was the first bona fide Chinese supermodel. Born in 1988, Liu Wen started her modeling career in 2005, and just four years later she became the first model of Asian descent to walk the 2009 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (which she walked again in 2010). Since then, she's also been the first Asian model for Estée Lauder, and the first Asian model to make Forbes’ list of annual highest-paid models list. She has been in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Roberto Cavalli, Oscar de la Renta, Hugo Boss, Bergdorf Goodman, Alexander Wang, and H&M.
Meisa Kuroki is a Japanese actress, model, and singer from Nago, Okinawa. She was first discovered in her second year of junior high school by a fashion scout and began a modeling career that included popular fashion magazines JJ and 25ans. She is represented by the agency Sweet Power and is signed by Sony Music Japan and is currently the Japanese representative for Epson and Giorgio Armani. In 2010 she was chosen as the international face of French cosmetic brand, L’Oreal.
